ANOVA1, a woman-owned technical recruiting and engineering firm, is hiring a Project Engineer for an on-site gas-turbine hot-section manufacturing role in Stuart, FL. You will own external manufacturing vendors (investment casting/foundry, machining, special processes, and coatings) for gas-turbine hot-section parts. You will carry each part number from planning through complete-set delivery. This is a manufacturing engineering role, not a commissioning, outage, or field-service job. Relocation candidates are welcome. Early-career engineers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor execution across casting, machining, special processes, coating, and inspection through complete-set delivery.
• Build and track project plans, schedules, and supplier milestones from quote through first article, production, and shipment.
• Prepare RFQ packages and quotes, and support supplier selection and qualification.
• Review drawings, specifications, GD&T, and supplier deliverables.
• Coordinate first-article inspection and qualification evidence before release.
• Drive NCRs, SCARs, root cause, and corrective action to closure.
• Track supplier cost, quality, delivery, yield, and lead time, and keep heat/lot traceability for complete sets.
• Report status, risks, and recovery plans to management and customers.
• Travel to supplier sites as needed.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of engineering experience with complex manufactured hardware.
• Experience with gas turbine or aerospace hot-section hardware is required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, materials, or a related engineering field.
• Hands-on ownership of external manufacturing vendors, including schedule and quality-issue closure.
• Able to read drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Able to work on-site in Stuart, FL.

Preferred

• Experience with more than one process: investment casting, machining, heat treat, NDT, special processes, or coatings.
• Knowledge of superalloys and of ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems.
• Project planning software and Gantt-chart reporting.

This is an on-site, entry-level Project Engineer role for an early-career mechanical or aerospace engineer who wants hands-on exposure to how gas turbine components are made, qualified, and delivered.

You’ll support engineers and suppliers across manufacturing steps like casting, machining, special processes, coatings, and inspection. You’ll learn to turn engineering requirements into supplier actions and help keep projects on schedule.

What you’ll do

• Support external suppliers on gas turbine component projects
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Build and update models and drawings in Siemens NX
• Help track project milestones, action items, and deliverables
• Help gather inspection, first-article, and qualification documentation
• Help resolve technical and quality questions with suppliers and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Aerospace Engineering (BSAE)
• Working knowledge of Siemens NX
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR 120.62), because the role involves ITAR-controlled technical data
• Able to work on-site in Stuart, FL
