ANOVA1 is led by Kristina Fitzsimmons. We focus narrowly on technical disciplines — gas turbine / IGT, HGP, power generation, aerospace, energy and manufacturing — and on roles from project lead through VP.

Founder
Kristina Fitzsimmons, Founder
Kristina helps aerospace, power generation and gas turbine companies find hard-to-find engineers. She founded her first recruiting firm in 2015, later rolled it into ANOVA1, and has placed people from project lead through VP, including helping staff a major gas turbine OEM program from design through manufacturing.
She grew up around engineers. At her family's engineering and manufacturing business, she handled engineering submittals and kept clients and engineers in step on fuel systems and equipment projects. That experience shapes how she recruits today for design, manufacturing, gensets, fuel systems and the AI work changing them.
The name comes from ANOVA, the statistical test for variance between groups. That's how she sees candidates: each brings a unique skill set, and the work is finding the right fit. As one engineer she placed put it, she's “a genuine hiring advocate, driven to connect motivated candidates with great positions.”
Kristina also works in disaster recovery for homeowners, co-founded United Farmers Alliance, and plays guitar. She loves creativity in art and engineering alike. She thrives on tough challenges, moved to the Space Coast for the rocket launches, and wants to help build the teams and technology that will let us live among the stars.
